After several decades of technological evolution, power electronics applications have become extremely important for electric/hybrid propulsion systems, smart grids, renewable energy saving, and bulk storage, besides the typical in industrial automation high-efficiency systems. In all these applications, a conversion system with high efficiency density is required without sacrificing system's quality. The paper describes specific characteristics scalar modulation strategy new multi-level multiplexed inverter topology medium-voltage AC applications. proposed converter configuration intended high-power aiming to reduce active device's voltage rating losses exhibiting resulting low switching frequency switches. aims computational burden simplify implementation process, which are at basis any possible adoption. Simulation results full Hardware-In-the-Loop verification support analysis. assessment has enabled development suitable strategy, testing safe environment.
